HEAVY DUTY "SINGER 66K" WITH THE LOTUS DESIGN DETAIL - INDUSTRIAL STRENGTH HAND OPERATED LEATHER SEWING MACHINE

~ Made in Clydebank, Scotland ~~ Serial Number F7642504 ~~ 1917 ~

Here we have a fantastic sewing machine made in 1911. A beautiful machine to use, not much effort is needed to turn the back hand crank, just a light turning motion with your hand and it sails through heavy materials many large industrial machines would struggle with!!

It as been cleaned and oiled so it is ready to use. I have sewn 4 layers of leather which can be seen in the photo.

Ideal for a small business...

CLASSIC CAR RESTORATION - LEATHER WORK - REPAIR WORK - SAIL REPAIRS ETC... ETC...

The thicknesses this machine can handle... 6MM+ thick heavy duty layers of upholstery and leather with ease!!

Also can be used on medium and light fabrics with no problems.

Features include: straight stitch, stitch length selector and bobbin winder. Drop in bobbin – it also has the slightly longer arm and extra extension table to help with more larger fabrics!!

Machine looks fantastic all round, paintwork looks very well, a beautiful example. Wooden case has slight damage but overall in good condition. It still has the key so the machine can be locked safely away when needed.
